As the season shifts from late summer to fall, we can often feel as restless as the leaves on the trees in the wind. It’s not uncommon to feel a little spun out from the busy summer time as we settle into the new season. We may physically feel jittery or anxious and the skin may be drier than usual.
According to Ayurveda, Autumn is ruled by Vata dosha, the elements of Air and Ether (space). Through specific Yoga and Ayurvedic practices, we can balance Vata within us to find greater harmony and ease in the body and the mind.
Join Chelsea for this 2 hour workshop where you’ll practice asana (yoga poses), pranayama (breath control), and meditation in addition to creating your own self-massage oil for the fall / Vata season. You’ll walk away with various daily and seasonal practices (dinacharya and ritucharya) that invite you to go deeper within- settling the mind and the body so you can connect back to yourself.
